Voksenåsen, in collaboration with Dextra Musica, are pleased to offer the opportunity for especially talented juniors, who are have not commenced higher education, a three day Junior Talent Program for the second year.
You will be taught by some of the best teachers, accompanied by a pianist, and professional musicians in Europe. Participants will be guided on how to develop their talent accompanied and have the opportunity to listen in on classes with other students.
Junior Talents Winds 2019 – flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn
You will be inspired by the older students, get lessons that will help you to the next level, get the opportunity to play for some of the best teachers and musicians in Europe and play with piano.
Leader for the Junior Talents Winds is Andreas Sundén and responsible for the Junior Talents is Linda Taube (flute, piccolo), both from the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Each participant will get 2 x 30 min lessons on his/her instrument, but it is not guaranteed which teacher(s) it will be. All participants will be divided into chamber music groups before the course and sheet music will be sent out. All other maser classes with the older students are open and Junior Talents will be joining the class hours with the other students. Other topics that Linda/Andreas will go through are technique, audition and breathing.
The Junior Talents Winds ends with a final concert July 31 followed by a dinner. Departure is after the dinner on the 31st.

There is no special Junior Talents Strings course, but some of the best pre-university students will be granted a place at the Summer Academy Strings.
