Andreas Sundén is solo clarinetist in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and previous solo clarinetist in Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He has been soloist with many of the leading European orchestras and won prices in several international competitions. He began his studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music for Hans Christian Braein and has since studies for Hans Deinzer and Yehuda Gilad in Los Angeles. He has given master classes in USA, Australia, Japan, China, Corea, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Scandinavia. Sundén currently holds a Professorship at Ingesund School of Music and teaches at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Sundén is artistic director of the Summer Academy Voksenåsen Winds.
Björn Nyman is solo clarinet of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. He is an active soloist and chamber musician. Nyman is awardwinner of two of the most prestigious international competitions for clarinetists, ARD-competition in Munich 2004 and Carl Nielsen-conception in Odense 2005. Nyman studied with Hans Christian Bræin and Leif Arne Pedersen at the Norwegian Academy of Music and with Yehuda Gilad at the University of Southern California i Los Angeles. Björn Nyman got his first job as solo clarinet already 19 years old, in Lapin Chamber Orchestra. He has also been solo clarinet in Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester for conductors as Pierre Boulez and Claudio Abbado. His first solo CD was released at LAWO, where he, together with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra plays Debussy, Crusell and Jan Erik Mikalsens Clarinet Concert, dedicated to Nyman. Nyman teaches at the Norwegian Academy of Music. *Björn will teach 2 days during the Summer Academy 2021.
Fors is an active chamber musician and has performed at festivals around the world and is also solo clarinetist of the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
In 1993 Fors received the Juventus Prize awarded by the Council of Europe and Foundation Claude Nicolas Ledoux.
He has recorded two recital CDs for the Harmonia Mundi and 2L labels together with pianist Sveinung Bjelland.
Fors studied at the Royal Academy of music in Stockholm with Sölve Kingstedt receiving his Soloist Diploma in 1996.
He currently teaches at the Norwegian Academy of Music and has held masterclasses all over the world.
